3800 SE Filbert St.: Kin, playing folk-adjacent songs (usually played around a bonfire), lyrically driven and inspired by nature, friends and wise strangers. Kin writes music about coping with the state of the world, not taking things so seriously, and taking things very seriously, from 7:30-8:30 p.m

Hector Campbell Neighborhood

4725 SE Washington Pl.: G.F.L., a punk band playing loud, catchy songs perfect for survival in a messed up world, 7:30-8:30 p.m. July 17, 24 & 31.

4110 SE Jackson St.: Toyboat Toyboat Toyboat, a distinct mixture of punk, jazz and world rhythms. They feature drums, bass/guitar, electric trumpet and a keyboardist who also plays the Quintron Drum Buddy, a hand-built light wave theremin! from, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

4110 SE Jackson St.: Nerds!, a three-piece rock band. A bit poppy. A bit punky. Someone at the last Porchfest said they sound a bit like the Minutemen (they wish). But really, we are pretty good at covering their own songs about Dungeons and Dragons, forlorn love, and losing their hair, 7:30-8:30 p.m.

3740 SE King Rd: Thea’s Wedding Band, the most recent project between sisters Lousia Mae (vocals and guitar) and Seda (vocals and guitar), their father Benjamin (guitar), and step-father Jeff (banjo), occasionally joined by drums. The group brings a unique blend of rhythmic, melodic harmonies, falling in the grey area between DIY northwest folk, Americana and traditional. A sound similar to that of Neko Case and the Corn Sisters, or Calexico. Having grown up influenced by both long-time musicians Benjamin and Jeff, the sisters add harmony driven old time folk rock vocals to Benjamin’s intricate finger pick style and Jeff’s unique approach to banjo playing, from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

3740 SE King Rd: HeBGBs, a Portland-based danceable indie rock band, playing their fourth year at Porchfest in a row. They’d love to share some original songs with you and dance in a bubble forest, from 7:30-8:30 p.m.

Portland Waldorf School (2300 SE Harrison St.): School of Rock Portland House Band is made up of some of the most talented young musicians in the city, students under 18 who audition to join this elite, gigging group. They bring high-energy, crowd-pleasing cover sets that showcase their skill, teamwork, and passion for rock and roll, 6:30-7:30 p.m. (also performing at 8809 SE 43rd Ave on 7/17.)

1915 SE Jefferson St (Sauna Glo): Meridian Green is a performing songwriter and a fierce protector of ancient redwoods, pygmy forests, and rivers running wild to the sea. She’s a community organizer and activist working to preserve a healthy planet and place for all people. She is, as ever, inspired by building community through music. Her original Cascadiana folk fusion moves down old country roads to earthy rhythms on a journey through lively villages where the deeply personal lives next door to the downright political, from 7:30-8:30 p.m.

1925 SE Scott St (1847 Food Cart Pod): Mathilda, a jazz/soul/pop singer-songwriter. Captivating vocals paired with strong imagery and jazz-inspired guitar playing, from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

2403 SE Monroe St. Suite A (Elk Rock Wellness) A “Shen Den” sound bath led by Gabrielle Urbani  Experience the healing vibrations of crystal singing bowls, Koshi chimes, didgeridoos, rainsticks and more. Activities take place outside in the backyard of Suite A., from 6:30-8 p.m. July 17 and July 24.

10801 SE Main St.: The Long Drive: Jackson Warner & Vanessa Devin were brought together by cosmic forces because they simply couldn’t go any longer without pouring their hearts into making music. As The Long Drive they blend impassioned lyrics with tender harmonies to create songs that leave everything on the table. They are two voices with one vision that stays with you on the long drive home (There will be a Friday Night Market at B-Side Records & Vintage for people to enjoy as they listen to the music,) from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

10801 SE Main St.: Maggie Ray is a Portland-based folk-pop acoustic act with a wide ranging sound, from intimate singer-songwriter ballads to powerful indie rock infused with alt-country grit. Front person and commanding vocalist Ray is a community-minded dreamer whose shows blur the line between performance and gathering. Blending humor, tenderness and a touch of wild queer magic, Maggie creates spaces where everyone is invited to exhale, laugh, and feel held. Their yeehaw-pop storytelling leaves audiences feeling both cathartic and energized. 3204 SE Sellwood St.: Antonio Shamano: Come celebrate community, solidarity, and hilarity with comedic performer, Antonio Shamano, as he weaves together song parodies, performance art, and traditional stand-up comedy in his latest creative adventure, “Fastly Falling Forward.” There will be two one-hour performances each evening, the first from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and the second from 7:30-8:30 p.m., July 24 and July 31.

5250 SE Logus Rd.: edad del pavo, an acoustic instrumental project blending the intricate sounds of Spanish guitar with the rhythmic energy of Latin American percussion, all filtered through the introspective lens of Pacific Northwest indie rock and folk. Founded in Barcelona in 2016, the project has since moved to Gresham, OR, where it continues to craft dynamic, atmospheric compositions that transport listeners across borders and genres, from 6:30-7:30 p.m

5250 SE Logus Rd.: 60 Hurtz, playing ’70’s, ’80’s and ’90’s classic rock, from 7:30-8:30 p.m.

9351 SE Stanley Ave: Son de Cuba is a quintet created in August 2015 by musicians from The USA and Cuba, based in Portland. The majority of members are Cubans with roots in Latin, African and jazz rhythms. They blend this vast knowledge of beats together in classic and modern Latin songs. They genres including salsa, timba, son, berengue, bolero, Cumbia, Bachata and Latin Jjzz. The band is Nelson Morales (vocals, bass and piano), Geisy Almanza (lead singer and minor percussion), Ramon Brizuela Martinez (sax, flute and vocals), Omar Pons (timbal), and Tony Gonzalez (percussion, vocals and band manager). 7373 SE Jack Rd: Waffle Taco: “Aurally, weirdly delicious,” Waffle Taco is a Portland-based jazz trio consisting of Ben Beauvais (bass, vocals), Kyle Linneman (trumpet), and Andrew Lawless (sax). Waffle Taco’s main ingredient is jazz, but added notes of moving trumpet melodies and poignant songwriting give this group their delicious sound, from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

11161 SE 77th Ave.: Beacon Rock was created for an annual weekend campout that gave the band its name. Beacon Rock marries the spirit of campfire jams with a love of roots music to create its own Pacific Northwest style. Acoustic Americana, blues, folk, classic country and whatnot, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

12585 SE 26th Ave.: Millhouse, covering hits from the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s and beyond, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

14824 SE Laurie Ave: Short Train plays thoughtful original and cover folk with a bit of a rock, blues, pop and a fun feel to them. Robert Owen and John Richter are singer-songwriters joined by Larry Bartasavich. Robert sings and plays lead and rhythm guitar, Larry plays bass and joins in on vocals, and John sings and plays rhythm guitar, harmonica, clarinet and some banjo. Join them for some interesting and fun music! Bring a folding chair to sit on the lawn, from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

3311 SE Loeffelman Rd.: The Loeffelmen are a few Portland musicians who’ve spent years crossing paths in bands like The Moaning Lorries and Babe Ruthless before finally ending up in the same garage. They play mostly original, guitar-driven roots rock inspired by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Ryan Adams, Dawes, The Rolling Stones, and the occasional questionable life decision.
