Ardenwald Neighborhood
8770 SE 34th Ave.: Molinari Family Band, playing a variety of rock, folk, Americana, and country, including some originals, 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 11.
3636 SE Harrison St.: Cahoots! playing 7:30-8:30 p.m. July 11. Do you like punk rock ukulele? Or heavy metal accordion? Now skank in a little ska, lasso some country, and add a heaping helping of good fashioned Melting Pot Americana. Are you in?
3023 SE Olsen St.: The Likely Stories brings a lively NW Americana sound with a mix of classic covers and original songs that range from blues, rock, folk and country (and maybe even a little pop) from 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 11. The band returns to Porchfest after a very popular show in 2023 with a new array of songs featuring strong female vocals, upbeat guitar rhythms and contemplative singer-songwriter ballads that are perfect for sitting on a blanket in the grass or dancing beneath some massive maple trees.
Ardenwald Elementary, 8950 SE 36th Ave.: Couch Brass, a high-energy brass band bringing the sounds of New Orleans, European street bands, and modern grooves to the Pacific Northwest, performing from 7:30-8:30 p.m., July 11. (Stick around for a family-friendly movie, part of the kickoff to Milwaukie Fest.)
Water Tower Park (9890 SE 40th Ave.): The Clackamas River Brass Quintet, playing everything from Baroque to Broadway music, performs 6:30-8 p.m. July 11.
2860 SE Roswell St.: The Defecators, a two-piece band playing alt jazzy rock, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. July 11.
9020 SE 39th Ave.: Viveka and Relendra, a medicine folk/rock duo playing original songs that incorporate sound healing elements such as crystal bowls and handpan, 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 11.
8946 SE 29th Ave.: Once Upon a String, a group of 9th graders performing on violin, viola and cello, playing classical music as well as modern upbeat songs, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Lake Road Neighborhood
12215 SE 38th Ave.: Two all-woman groups, Prairie Flowers and Beaumont Roses, playing bluegrass and folk music, 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 11. Chairs and non-alcoholic beverages provided.
11584 SE 32nd Ave.: Windward, performing 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 11 and 18. Fluid flute and guitar/piano playing acoustic ballads from the last 60 years, including songs by Eva Cassidy, Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, Elvis, Broadway tunes, folk music and more.
Milwaukie Floral, 3306 SE Lake Road: Flight DeVille, a five-piece rock, pop and blues band playing a range danceable music from rock standards, less heard B sides, and the occasional original tune, 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 11.
11342 SE 27th Ave.: Pelican Skeleton (formerly known as The Ripples) are playing a lively mix of pop, blues, indie and folk in their fun three-piece band, led by C. C. Lynch (uke and vocals), and backed by Mike Wellner (drums) and Brian Bell (Bass). Covers, originals, and maybe a few surprises. 13022 SE Kuehn Rd.: Zane Thomas, a high energy, uplifting hiphop performer with songs about redemption, recovery and mental health, 7:30-8:30 p.m. July 11.
Century Park, 11500 SE 35th Ave.: Join a community drumming circle from 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 11. Drums and other instruments will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring their own instruments and join in. Bubbles and hooping will also be an option.
Lewelling Neighborhood
8809 SE 43rd Ave.: Taking their name from an anonymous letter their drummer received from an unappreciative neighbor at the time, Dear Drummer has been having fun and filling venues all over Portland since forming over 10 years ago. Their unique blend of soul-funk-rock mixed with reggae and blues and an evolving sound has kept dance floors full and audiences fully engaged. Catch them 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 11.
4929 SE Winworth Ct.: Portland-based pop power trio Little Radio from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, July 11. Little Radio will take you on a journey through many decades, playing great pop hits and a few songs you might have forgotten.
Linwood Neighborhood
7018 SE Furnberg St.: The Lindybee and Friends Cul-de-sac Serenade returns, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Join singer Lindy Barr-Batdorf and friends for a relaxed evening of music, refreshments, community and so much fun! First responders are welcome to sing, as are visitors who’d like to come up and sing a rehearsed song. (The hosts can pull up a karaoke version of your song on YouTube.) Goodies and some seating provided.
6565 SE Furnberg St.: Dylan May & The Message, playing original funk, soul, jazz and rock for your mind and the dance floor, 6-8 p.m. July 11. (Note: This concert has an earlier start time.)
11107 SE Stanley Ave.: Good Gravy blends blues, classic rock and Americana into an easygoing, authentic sound. Aaron and Zack mix well-loved covers with their own original songs, keeping things laid-back and lively. With warm vocals, tight guitar work, and a style rooted in classic American music, Good Gravy brings a timeless feel that’s perfect for Porchfest. Catch them 6:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, July 11.
12104 SE Sequoia Ave.: Monica Faricy, a singer-songwriter who creates songs of self-love, love for the earth and universe, magical dream realms, laughter, and joy for these amazing times, 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 11. There will also be a misting station to beat the heat.
Hector Campbell Neighborhood
4110 SE Jackson St.: Catch two acts from 6:30-8:30 p.m.: Dame Nation, an all-female a cappella group who’ve been singing together for over 10 years, followed by Kayla Meltzer, an acoustic-pop singer-songwriter and cover artist based out of Portland.
Chapel Theatre (4107 SE Harrison St.): Atypical Prototype, a No Doubt cover band, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, July 11. The theater’s bar and restrooms will be open in the Annex during the show.
Historic (Downtown) Milwaukie
Milwaukie Station Food Cart Pod, 11301 SE 21st Ave.: Singer-songwriter Jessi La Main performs 6:30-8:30 p.m. Jessi LaMain is a Pacific Northwest native with strong roots in the Portland community. From a young age, Jessi spent her time studying a variety of instruments. This developed into a passion for music that is still burning like an Oregon Coast beach bonfire to this day! Elk Rock Wellness, 2403 SE Monroe St.: A “Shen Den” experience of healing vibrations, restorative yoga and interactive activities, with a sound bath led by Gabrielle Urbani, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 11. Meditative sound bath with crystal singing bowls, Koshi chimes, didgeridoos, rainsticks and more. Activities take place outside in the backyard of the building complex. Samaritan Odd Fellows Lodge, 10282 SE Main St.: Members of Torchsong Entertainment will perform pieces from “Ballad of the Merry Folx,” an original folk punk musical that’s a reimagining of Robin Hood for our times, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 11. This version of the tale follows a young professional Marian, recently moved to the rapidly gentrifying neighborhood of New Nottingham, only to get embroiled in the conflict between her unhoused neighbors, the landlords, and the sheriff.
The Riff Space inside B-Side Records & Vintage (10801 SE Main St.): Anastasia Lang, playing originals and covers of various folk, pop and “Bohemian gothic folk pop” style songs, from 6:30-7:30 p.m., followed by Crimes on Cassette, a PDX ska band, from 7:30-8:30 p.m. July 11.
St. Johns Episcopal Church (2036 SE Jefferson St.): Stumptown Saxes, a sax ensemble established in 2017, playing 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 11.
Island Station Neighborhood
12125 S.E. 21st Ave.: The Braxeling Family Players, playing acoustic versions of cool covers and swinging originals, 7:30-8:30 p.m. July 11.
12585 SE 26th Ave.: Millhouse, a local cover band featuring music from the 1970’s, ’80’s, ’90’s and beyond, and London to Liverpool, a local cover band featuring music from the ‘British Invasion’ of the ’60’s and ’70’s, 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 11.
Oak Grove
4205 SE Concord Rd.: Happy For No Reason, a jazzy folk trio blending rich harmonies, poetic lyrics and groovy rhythms – think Joni Mitchell meets Steely Dan on a sunny porch – with flute, percussion, and acoustic guitar, 6:30-7:30 p.m. July 11. (Like what you hear? Tip the band via Venmo as Neil Goldstein.) They’re followed by Everything’s Folked Up, an improvisational duo that reimagines chart-toppers and underground anthems using folk textures from button-box accordion and mandolin, from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Spontaneity is central to their act, and audiences can make requests or spin the “Wheel of Destiny” to determine the next tune.
15930 SE Wallace Road: Singer/songwriter (and host of Reflective Eclectic on Shady Pines Radio) Bruce Eric Reiter performs Americana and folk music, including some covers, 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 11, 18 & 25. Some nights might include a second guest musician. Stop by and sit in provided chairs under the shade trees.
15909 SE Lark Ave, (Schilling Lights on Lark): Simmer Down, an acoustic duo playing popular folk and country covers from 6:30-7:30 p.m., followed by Bunker Busters, a three-piece power trio playing classic rock and blues covers from 7:30-8:30 p.m. July 11.

Milwaukie-Portland Elks Lodge No. 142 (13121 SE McLoughlifn Blvd.), Sweet Sam Band, playing blues and country classics and originals, featuring Sweet Sam Kisling, 7:30-9:30 p.m. Friday, July 11 at Elks Park behind Lodge Building. The public is welcome, and Elks members will be offering tours of the Lodge facilities and information on membership.
