Because traditional concerts are not possible during the pandemic, these short, informal concerts – decentralized across the city – encourage people to keep moving and enjoy an outdoor experience.

Porchfest encourages residents to walk or bike their neighborhoods, meet their neighbors and share their talents with the community – all while staying socially distanced on their own porches.

From 6-8 p.m. every Friday, from May 7th to 21st, we invite you to either perform from your home, or walk or bike your neighborhood to enjoy the sounds.

Last fall, Porchfest 2020 included 84 mini-concerts throughout Milwaukie over four Fridays. Performers included bagpipers, an improv troupe, several rock bands, two brass quintets and an outdoor drag show. All are encouraged to fill Milwaukie with performance art!

Milwaukie Porchfest is made possible through financial contributions from the city’s Neighborhood District Associations.
